We’ve been on the hunt for authentic Chinese food and thought Wei Lai would finally satisfy our cravings. Unfortunately, the chicken dish turned out to be a bit too spicy for our taste, and the tea-stewed pork belly wasn’t as tender as we’d hoped. That said, we’re still keen to come back and try other dishes — maybe we just haven’t found the right ones yet!

Authentic Chinese Szechuan plus other traditional dishes, artfully prepared. Plenty of zesty spice but not so it overwhelms the other ingredients. Good portions and fairly priced considering the quality of the ingredients. Very good service. If you order the Spicy Chicken get a Coke to put out the fire.
